The heat sink accelerates the heat dissipation speed by increasing the heat transfer surface area and promoting air convection, to prevent overheating and maintain stability.
Most of our SSR heat sinks are made from aluminum, in real applications, Aluminum transfers heat efficiently to pull heat away from the SSR pretty quickly.
