Solid State Relay with Fuse

  • Fuse-protected design; damaged fuses are replaceable.
  • Fast switching speed and sensitive response.
  • Semiconductor-controlled; noise-free switching.
  • Low input power consumption and simple drive requirements.
  • Optocoupler isolation; resistant to vibration and shock.
  • No mechanical contacts or arcing; long service life.

Product Overview & Applications:

Solid State Relay (SSR) products utilize SCRs or MOSFETs to achieve precise and rapid control over loads. The control circuitry is optically coupled and isolated from the load, offering high dielectric strength to provide protective isolation for upstream control components.

Solid-state relays have gained widespread adoption and application across various fields, including hazardous and explosion-proof environments, lighting control systems, electromechanical automation control, and medical equipment.

Choose A Correct Type for Current

1.For Resistive Loads: SSR Rated Current = 3 × Load Operating Current
Resistive loads include resistance furnaces, incandescent lamps, ovens, heating elements, electric water heaters, etc.

2.For Inductive Loads: SSR Rated Current = 6 × Load Operating Current
Inductive loads include motors, fans, transformers, water pumps, air conditioners, and other loads exhibiting inductive characteristics.

3.For Capacitive Loads: SSR Rated Current = 10 × Load Operating Current
Capacitive loads include compensation capacitors, batteries, and other loads exhibiting capacitive characteristics.

Choose A Suitable Heat Sink

1.When SSR is working, it will give out a lot of heat, so in order to extend the life of your SSR, please install a heat sink.

2.If the current is over 60A, a cooling fan is also required.

3.Don’t forget to apply heat-conductive silicon grease between SSR and heat sink.

Note: The radiator needs to be purchased separately!

Precautions

1. During operation, the temperature of the heat sink must remain below 75°C.

2. For inductive loads, it is recommended to use a varistor.

3.If you wish to perform a test, you need to connect a load to the solid-state relay.
