Product Overview & Applications:

Industrial-grade Solid State Relays (SSRs) are specifically engineered to meet the demands for efficient control within harsh industrial environments; today, they are widely deployed in automation equipment, motor control systems, heating systems, and other high-load applications. By selecting our industrial-grade SSR products, you gain access to highly efficient and reliable solutions that not only significantly advance your industrial automation projects but also comprehensively enhance the overall performance and safety of your systems.

Industrial-grade Solid State Relays (SSRs) utilize Silicon Controlled Rectifiers (SCRs) or Metal-Oxide-Semiconductor Field-Effect Transistors (MOSFETs) as their core switching components, thereby enabling precise and rapid control over the connected load. Their control circuitry employs optocoupling technology to achieve electrical isolation from the load side; thanks to superior dielectric withstand strength, this design provides robust protective isolation for upstream control components.

Solid-state relays have gained widespread adoption and application across various fields, including hazardous and explosion-proof environments, lighting control systems, electromechanical automation control, and medical equipment.

Choose A Correct Type for Current

1.For Resistive Loads: SSR Rated Current = 3 × Load Operating Current
Resistive loads include resistance furnaces, incandescent lamps, ovens, heating elements, electric water heaters, etc.

2.For Inductive Loads: SSR Rated Current = 6 × Load Operating Current
Inductive loads include motors, fans, transformers, water pumps, air conditioners, and other loads exhibiting inductive characteristics.

3.For Capacitive Loads: SSR Rated Current = 10 × Load Operating Current
Capacitive loads include compensation capacitors, batteries, and other loads exhibiting capacitive characteristics.

Choose A Suitable Heat Sink

1.When SSR is working, it will give out a lot of heat, so in order to extend the life of your SSR, please install a heat sink.

2.If the current is over 60A, a cooling fan is also required.

3.Don’t forget to apply heat-conductive silicon grease between SSR and heat sink.

Precautions

1. Use a fast-acting fuse to protect the solid-state relay against load short circuits.

2. During operation, the temperature of the heat sink must remain below 75°C.

3. For inductive loads, it is recommended to use a varistor.

4.If you wish to perform a test, you need to connect a load to the solid-state relay.
